In January&#8217;s <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ebsqart.com\/ArtMagazine\/za_605.htm\">EBSQ Zine<\/a>, Amie discusses the topic of resolutions, goals and plans for the new year and she\u00c2\u00a0shares a list of questions to ask yourself that she found on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ebsqart.com\/ArtMagazine\/za_605.htm\">ArtBiz Coach<\/a>. Here are a few that I feel I can tackle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What will you do to amplify your online presence?<\/strong> I have had an online presence since 1999, but I can&#8217;t say that I have much of a following&#8230; So my Actional Items to improve my online presence include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Updating my art blog (with images) at least twice a week. Including articles that cross reference othe blogs and artists that I admire.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in my online groups and forums more often by making weekly posts that are interactive with the members.<\/li>\n<li>Visiting and commenting on other art blogs that I find inspiring.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What seminars\/workshops\/lectures will you attend?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The only one I am scheduled for this year is <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.teeshaslandofodd.com\/artfest2008\/info.html\">ARTFEST <\/a>in April.<\/li>\n<li>I also plan to start attending a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artists-connect.com\/\">local artist group <\/a>that has monthly meetings with <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/bluebetween.blogspot.com\/\">another online artist friend<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>I am also presenting and teaching workshops that are related to my K-12 edcuation job.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What galleries, exhibits, or other venues will you submit your art to?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ebsqart.com\/Shows.asp\">EBSQ monthly shows<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/canvasanartgallery.com\/default.aspx\">my current gallery<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>locate and enter at least 2 local events and 1 national event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Questions I still want to consider&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"zine\">\n<li>What is the single thing you can do in 2008 that will move your career ahead the fastest?<\/li>\n<li>How will you improve your studio habits?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(more at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artbizblog.com\/2007\/12\/podcast-plan-yo.html\" title=\"listen to Alyson's podcast on planning your wins for 2008\" class=\"zine\">ArtBizCoach.com<\/a>)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With my desire to make SMART goals this year, I have been hunting the net for tips and tools for setting goals that fit these parameters.
