Considering the low turn-out I wasn’t surprised to find that my books were both winners in the EBSQ Show. I do wish there had been more participation.

I wanted to enter my two non-traditionally bound books, but I hesitated for a couple of reasons. The first being that my entries wouldn’t be eligible since I’m obviously on staff (hee!) and secondly, both of my books (one a concertina, the other a rubber-band & twig bound book) are blank so I feel like they’re not really done yet.
I am beyond bummed that there wasn’t more participation. But I certainly loved the work that was entered, and your stuff would have gotten awards regardless of the size of the show. They simply exemplify exactly what we wanted to see. Thanks for participating!
Amie, glad you liked my entries… there were some comments on the forums that indicated that since mine did have binding that they did not fit the prospectus. I actually had a couple more in the works that were even more ‘alternative’ but didn’t take the direction I wanted…
